Competition for 11th and 12th graders in high school to have a solid ground to start studying and understanding the world of Finance
MIT Finance Classes
Official lecture videos, lecture notes, recitation notes, problem sets and their
solutions, and sample midterm and final exams to practice. No prior knowledge is necessary for students to understand the content.
Technical Workshops by Scholars of Finance
The technical workshops provide a highlight of each industry and an introduction to Finance.
The competition will be 90 minutes.
The test will include both multiple-choice and open-ended questions covering topics ranging from Managerial Finance, Accounting, and Macro & Microeconomics.
We aim to challenge students with foundational knowledge in Wall Street and the broader Finance industry.
The 2025 competition will take place on April 19th.
9:00AM - 10:00AM | Check-in
10:00AM - 12:00PM | Test (test itself will be 90 minutes.)
12:00PM - 1:00PM | Lunch + Meet MIT Undergrad Sloan students and alumnis working in Finance
1:00PM - 2:30PM | MIT Campus Tour (including tour of Sloan)
3:00PM - 4:00PM | Award Ceremony
Eligibility
Only students below the age of 21 who have not completed secondary education in their
local jurisdiction and who are 11th and 12th graders are eligible to compete. International
students can participate in this competition by applying through the same registration
workflow as domestic applicants. No preference is given based on nationality.
All participants must to bring school ID AND official ID on the day of the test
